Another vector emote I made while taking a break from my thesis. Inkscape is fun to mess around with. I'm slowly learning the different tools and settings.
This is a vector version of: I wanted to also vector the other two fighting moves but then realized that hours had passed since I started my break <.< ...so maybe later.
First of all... that face is amazing! I mean look at it! That's a five star expression all by itself! Moving on, the headband and shading on the ninja: The shading reminds me of something you'd put in a paint bucket on MS paint (I'm talking about the gradient) next time doing a Vectormote, try a different shading style. Now to the lazer: I like the little waves on the sides but when it's by the yellow emote, it goes crazy and looks a little bit awkward. Oh and the shading on the yellow emote is... a little off. POSITIVES TIME!!! YAY!!! The brightness of the lazer and shading on it, was amazing it looks like it's charging up and then.... SHABOOM!!! FATALITY. And I also love the little shadow of the yellow emote in lazer form at the bottom.
I would say that this is an awesome vector revamp of your classic emote. I would like to see this made into a gif animation. ... wah? Oh wells.
Anyhoo, I already like the original concept, so I'll skip that part.
Although shading round emotes are pretty easy to shade, I would say that I love your shading in this particular artwork. It's awesome that you blended the blue emote into the dark background, adding more 'ninjaness' to that dude.
...
Meh, many peeps are already commenting how good this is, so I'll skip over to the critique-cky part:
The shading on the blue emote's lips and tongue make it look 3D, but in immediately seeing the the border (or the thick lines) of the ribbon, eyes, and his body, the 3D effect is kinda forgotten. I suggest losing the borders and adding more light color (or the color of the light source) on the eyes to help the 3D emphasis.
Add more fuzziness or distortion on the yellow emote's body. Maybe it's just me, but it feels that he (was shocked that he) managed to dodge the kamehameha. Add a tongue, and see if that works. And again, lose the borders.
On the kamehameha, add moar color white on the middle; it'll make it a tad bit brighter, but it'll look powerful.

Overall... great job!

Question: why not use Illustrator?
Anyhoo, that's my review.
